Our Core Biblical Values:
1. God’s Word:
We are committed to clear and faithful teaching from God’s word, the Bible for the growth of Christ’s church. We believe it should be central in all that we do. 2 Timothy 3:16; Colossians 3:16; Deuteronomy 4: 9-14
2. Sharing the Gospel:
We are committed to proclaiming and promoting in our lives the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ because we believe all people are valuable to God and we desire them to be saved. Matthew 5: 14-16; Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Peter 3:15
3. Prayer:
We are committed to talking to God, both individually and when we meet together. Prayer is an expression of our relationship with God and our reliance on him for everything. Colossians 4:2; Ephesians 6:18; Hebrews 4:14-16
4. Meeting Together:
We are committed to gathering together as a large group and in small groups under the word of God for mutual encouragement and growth in godliness. Hebrews 10:24-25; Colossians 1:28
5. Serving:
We are committed to training all church partners* to be active in serving the church so that the body of Christ grows in maturity. Our leaders are to selflessly nourish and guide those in their care. Ephesians 4:11-13
6. Sending:
We are committed to encouraging and sending out workers to do Christ’s work, both locally and globally. This may be done through church planting, sending partners* to support local churches and encouraging partners* to consider Christian ministry. Matthew 9:38
7. Relationships:
We are committed to godliness in our speech, actions and in all relationships. We are committed to speaking the truth in love. Titus 2:11-14; Ephesians 4:15
8. Family:
We are committed to minister to people of all life situations in a family friendly environment with special attention to children (0-12). 7 Timothy 5:1-12; Luke 18:15-16
